about

Megan Ziglar began her interior design career in 1989 after graduating from the University of North Carolina and New York School of Interior Design. Megan gained invaluable experience working for many years at Charlotte Moss & Co. in New York City as an associate, design shop manager, and assistant to Charlotte Moss.

Megan designs comfortable, colorful and classically timeless spaces with contemporary elements that reflect the specific needs and preferences of her clients. Incorporating unique artwork, antiques, colors, textures, and personalized design details, Megan creates inviting and individualized homes, offices and boats for clients. In 2022, Megan completed her first restaurant renovation project, Blue Moon Bistro, located in Beaufort’s historic district. Residential and executive office commissions include locations in New York, Long Island, New Jersey, Virginia, North Carolina, Colorado, California, Ohio and Georgia.

Megan was born in Canada, and her British parents and four siblings later made their home in North Carolina. She met her husband in Chapel Hill, and soon after their marriage, they moved to NYC. Megan is the mother of two daughters and a son. In addition to designing, Megan enjoys time spent with family, traveling, exercising, reading, cooking and gardening.
Megan is the past Chair and a member of the UNC Friends of the Library Board, UNC Chancellor’s Philanthropic Council, Carolina Women’s Leadership Council, Beaufort Garden Club, and the Vestry at St. Paul’s Church.
